To the parents, students, and community,

As most of you know Monday, December 4th was Mr. Newton's final day on campus at Fairfax Elementary. We will miss him greatly, but we wish him the best in his next adventure!

Monday evening, the Chambers County School District had a called board meeting to approve his replacement. Effective Tuesday, December 5th, I have transitioned into the new role as Principal at Fairfax Elementary School.

As a life long community member of Chambers County, and a former Fairfax student myself, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to walk alongside some of the best educators in the district to make Fairfax an educational environment like no other. I ask that you are patient with our staff as they have endured a good bit of challenges thrown at us over the last two years. Having an administrative change mid-year can add to those challenges, however, thanks to the Chambers County Board of Education we will now begin the interview process for our next assistant principal.

Fairfax has always been a special place in my heart. I will continue to help lead our staff to make Fairfax Elementary School the best it can be!
