Attendance Matters in Chambers County.
The CCSD is pleased to share that Alabama’s annual back-to-school sales tax holiday will be Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23. The state will waive its 4% tax on school-related supplies and clothing. Some cities are also waiving the local taxes too. The tax-free weekend allows for purchases of pencils, calculators, binders, and other essential school supplies without a sales tax. Items include clothing priced at $100 or less per garment, school supplies priced at $50 or less per item, books that cost $30 or less and tablets, laptops, computers and printers that sell for costs of $750 or less. CCSD Back to School update - The new revised dress code is being shared for students and parents to shop for their approved back to school clothes. Vendors such as Old Navy, Target, Walmart and The Children's Place will have these colors and styles. School starts on Aug. 8th.

With the summer break quickly approaching this is a friendly reminder that attendance will be taken this week. Wednesday will be a half day with PreK dismissing at 11:30 and k-5 will dismiss at 12. Thank you for a wonderful year.

Parents and Guardians,
Friday, April 21st, will be a school spirit day. Students may wear a spirit shirt and jeans/shorts.
The CCSD stands with Dadeville mourning the loss of the innocent. We send our deepest sympathies for the victims and their families. Tuesday, April 18th, we ask all students and staff wear black and gold in support of the DHS family in memory of the lives taken too soon. #DadevilleStrong
